Good morning!
10 days to go until St. Patrick’s Day 2017. I realised yesterday that I had taken some photos from the Achill Sound Parade last year and it would be a good time to get everybody in the mood by publishing them. Let’s hope that conditions are somewhat as good as last year’s perfect conditions.

Progress continues on getting the photos of the 2016 St. Patrick’s Day parade online. The first batch is now ready featuring images from early morning in Dooagh.

Dooagh Pipe Band marching from Keel West on a beautiful St. Patrick’s Day morning.
Found another video on youtube, this time by Mark Cafferkey. This is the Dooagh Pipe Band marching back Keel West near the end of the parade.
Shane McNamara has been busy posting another of John Gielty’s slideshows on YouTube. There doesns’t seem to be photos from a specific year for this slideshow but again great photos. Enjoy!
I got a video from my sister Catherine of the Dooagh Pipe Band arriving in Pollagh this morning.
A nice way to start the morning! I hope to get more photos and videos throughout the day. Let me know if you have any to share!
Thanks Catherine!
