The photos from the 2018 St. Patrick’s Day parade are almost ready. Some are ready now and should be finished by tomorrow.
It’s Whit Weekend and the forecast in Achill is for rain. Sounds a bit like St. Patrick’s Day. 😉
Now the gallery for the 2017 St. Patrick’s Day parade is now complete so it’s the perfect time to view all the photos.
Enjoy and have a great weekend!

Here is a video of Dooagh Pipe Band playing the first tune of St. Patrick’s Day 2017 at Molly’s in Keel West.
The site had some issues after a break-in. After installing new security features and cleaning out old and unused files, the site is back to normal. Apologies for the interruption in service.
5 days to go!
If you visited the site in the last few weeks, the appearance hasn’t been as good as usual. From today, the site has a new theme in honour of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the band. Not to mention that the website has now been in existence for 20 years.
I think that the site is more attractive and easier to use.
As usual, any comments or suggestions are welcome by email to firstname.lastname@example.org
I am happy to announce that the gallery for 2016 is now complete from my collection. Enjoy the gallery with memories of a fantastic day for the parade.
Progress continues on getting the photos of the 2016 St. Patrick’s Day parade online. The first batch is now ready featuring images from early morning in Dooagh.
Great news! I got sent some more photos of the St. Patrick’s Day parade courtesy of my sister-in-law Annette McNamara. I will put them together with the other photos from Catherine Keane and Carol Ann McNulty into one 2015 gallery. Hopefully, it will be ready by the weekend.
Feel free to get in contact if you have any photos you would like featured on the site.
Have a wonderful day today, especially if you are in Achill for the parade. I just checked the weather forecast for the day and it looks like it will be partly sunny with temperatures of 8 degrees Celsius.
I wish I could have been there this year.
