More photographs from Catherine Keane.
I got a video from my sister Catherine of the Dooagh Pipe Band arriving in Pollagh this morning.
A nice way to start the morning! I hope to get more photos and videos throughout the day. Let me know if you have any to share!
Thanks Catherine!
Good morning!
Have a wonderful day today, especially if you are in Achill for the parade. I just checked the weather forecast for the day and it looks like it will be partly sunny with temperatures of 8 degrees Celsius.
I wish I could have been there this year.
Lá Fhéile Pádraig shona daoibh!
Unfortunately, I am not able to be in Achill for St. Patrick’s Day this year so I won’t be able to take the usual photos from the parade. I will try to get photos from other people. I would also encourage anyone to contact me with their own photos and I will be happy to post them on the site.
I can be contacted by email at paul@dooagh.com or in the comments below.
Have a great time if you are going!
The Dooagh Pipe Band is hosting a fundraiser event in Lourdie’s pub, Dooagh on Easter Sunday night (April 20). DJ Sean Molloy will be spinning the tunes during the night and members of the band will play a few tunes later in the night. Come and enjoy a night of ceol agus craic.
Not to be missed!
Hello,
Finally (yes I know), the photos are finally uploaded for the 2014 St. Patrick’s Day parade.
See you next year! 😉
Paul
