A lovely video from the archives. Back in 2010, here is something that I captured while the band was playing at Gielty’s.

Events, videoThis video shot at Pollagh Church shows how desperate the conditions were on this St. Patrick’s Day. Much respect to the band for continuing to play in such conditions. The spectators appreciated the effort shown by all the bands on the day.

5 days to go!
Achill Sound Parade 2016 Gallery is now online
Events, PhotosGood morning!
10 days to go until St. Patrick’s Day 2017. I realised yesterday that I had taken some photos from the Achill Sound Parade last year and it would be a good time to get everybody in the mood by publishing them. Let’s hope that conditions are somewhat as good as last year’s perfect conditions.

2017 – 70/20 – Site Refresh
Events, News, WebsiteIf you visited the site in the last few weeks, the appearance hasn’t been as good as usual. From today, the site has a new theme in honour of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the band. Not to mention that the website has now been in existence for 20 years.
I think that the site is more attractive and easier to use.
As usual, any comments or suggestions are welcome by email to paul@dooagh.com
